The Theatre Annualwas a yearly British magazine founded in 1883. It was published in the UK by "The Stage" Office, London. The Theatre Annual was edited by Clement Scott while he was working as the editor of The Theatre: A Monthly Review of the Drama, Music and the Fine Arts from 1880 to 1889. The first issue of the annual appeared in November 1883 and the last appeared in November 1887. Although the dates on the publication pages of these annuals are 1884 and 1888 they were actually published and released in the third quarter of the previous year in anticipation of Christmas and New Year sales.
