In 1973 it appeared in The Bram Stoker Bedside Companion, Victor Gollancz Ltd, London, and in 1997 it appeared in Best Ghost and Horror Stories, Dover Publications, Inc., New York. Periodical publication "The Secret of the Growing Gold" was also published in the US in a monthly magazine. It appeared in the December 1933 issue of Weird Tales, Chicago.
